A Tv Series adaptation of Gundam Unicorn OAV. Three years after the Second Neo Zeon War, War between Earth Federaton against Neo Zeon entes a new stage. Vist Foundation who control Anaheim Electronics and Earth Federation from behind the curtains still trying to destroy Sleeves – Neo Zeon’s remnants. Year 0096 UC, Banagher Links, a Student from Industrial Colony 7, saves a girl who fall from zero gravity area. Audrey Burne – the girl that Banagher saved – is trying to prevent a war by unveiling the mystery of Laplace Box, the mark of Universal Century.
I could hear gundam fans were screaming “YES GUNDAM UC THE SERIES” from a miles away. However, for anyone who wants something fresh, Gundam UC RE:0096 totally felt like “a recycled version” of the OVA Series. For the ones who already watched the OVA, the tv series may feels boring. Because of an event, Hideki Nishimura didn’t trust any girl in online game. One day, a girl in the online game confess to him, it turns out she is a beautiful girl named Ako Tamaki. But, Ako Tamaki is a loner who had problems in communication.
In this anime, it’s seen that in the online game many people play a character doesn’t match with their gender and sometime make the other confuse. But there’s many people play a character with gender and character name same with the real world. Recommendation for someone who isn’t able to accept the fact in online game. Minami Tani is a teenage girl who would start her life as a high-schooler, and she also loves bread so much. In her first day at high school, she met with Yuu Aizawa, girls sits next to her which had bread keychains hanging on her bag. Minami who loves bread then introducing herself to Yuu and befriend with her. Suddenly there comes Fuyumi Fukugawa, Yuu’s childhood friend who gives Minami some homemade bread as a sign of their friendship.
This anime aired with only 3 minutes duration, another short anime in this season. In this first episode, looks like this will be just another slice of life of high schooler type of anime. But reminding there’s Pan (Japanese for Bread) in its’ title, this anime also has bread as its’ theme. This anime had short durration with its’ colorful and some simple jokes that made it enjoyable to watched during your free time, or maybe it fits best if you watch it the moment you wanted to eat some bread. On the back from convenience store, Subaru Natsuki suddenly summoned to the pararel world without any clue. In there, he is attacked by someone. Later he is saved by silver-haired girl and cooperates with the girl to return the favor. When Subaru and the girl finally manage to get some clue, they were attacked and killed. Then Subaru awakens at the place he summoned and realize his ability of “rewind time” when he is killed. Can Subaru use this second chance well and save the girl from the fate of death?
The first episode has 40 minutes duration special for the intro that splitted to two parts. Yet another White Fox studios good adaptation, but its a little weird of detail when they used 3D CGI on almost all side characters and used manual drawing on all but side characters.
