Indonesian Umamusume-inspired cosplay racing competition CosRace will finally return in 2026 following a successful run in Jakarta and Yogyakarta in 2025. Held by Cos.Sports.ID, the first race will begin in Tangerang, Banten.
Dubbed CosRace: Tangerang Stakes, the event will take place on Sunday, 7 June 2026, at the Mini Soccer Sports Center Kelapa Dua Arena (Indomilk Arena Area) in Tangerang Regency. The opening race will carry the theme Run Your Destiny.
For this year, the organiser plans for a much larger-scale competition. The winners of the Tangerang Stakes will have the opportunity to compete again in future CosRace events.
There will be two early bird and on-the-spot (OTS) phases for CosRace 2026: Tangerang Stakes tickets. Visitors can experience the excitement of an Umamusume-style cosplay racing tournament for as little as Rp 10,000. Additional entertainment programmes and activities will be announced at a later date.
For attendees travelling from outside Tangerang, the organising committee will also provide a one-way shuttle service from Cisauk Station to the venue.
