Synopsis
Despite his tall build, Haruaki Abe, the rookie teacher, flinched at the sight of students hanging out in front of the convenience store. Just when he was at his wit’s end he was offered to teach at the Hyakki Academy. Little did he know it was an academy for ghouls. Even human students were too much to handle for him, how would he do with ghoul students?

It’s spring! It’s the new school year! It’s the time to enjoy new encounters and new experiences. But not for Abe Haruaki, as he was traumatized by delinquents at the start of his career to the point of being a hikikomori for the rest of the year. Accepting the offer to become a teacher again in a new school fills him with anxiety (except for the sailor school uniform part). Despite all the anxiety, he still attended the school to be the best teacher he had always dreamed of, only to find out that the school wasn’t for humans. Even more, he is the only human there.
With each magical and unique trait of the ghouls (youkai) in the class, every moment happening could be chaotic enough. These chaotic moments are perfectly captured in their anime opening, while the ending felt like a song for a company when returning from school. While A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! mainly labelled as a gag anime, it also served as a light introduction to Japanese ghoul (youkai). Just like Abe-sensei, we will be introduced to various characters inspired by Japanese folklore and myth. Being a normal teacher is already hard enough for Abe-sensei, but how will he do with ghoul students from the Class 2-3?
