On 5 May 2025, Kanaia Asa announced her plan to graduate from JKT48 Virtual (JKT48V). The decision and reason behind her graduation as a virtual idol were explained in a video titled Pengumuman (Announcement).
Debuted on 24 August 2023, Kanaia Asa is an Indonesian female virtual YouTuber affiliated with JKT48V. She is a first-generation member of JKT48 Virtual, alongside Pia Meraleo and Tana Nona. At the time of writing, she has 89.8 thousand subscribers on YouTube.
The graduation will be streamed on 31 May 2025 on her YouTube channel at 1900 Western Indonesian Times (WIT). Until her graduation day, her streaming activities will continue as usual.
JKT48V is a collaboration project from JKT48 and VTuber agency AKA Virtual that combines the idol group concept with virtual technology. Established on 30 July 2023, JKT48V has three VTuber talents as of 21 May 2025.
