On 15 May 2025, Indonesian video game studio Satriver Studio released a teaser for their next project Project Karecok. More details about the release date and platform have not been announced yet.
The studio describes Project Karecok as a soulslike game set in the era of the Singhasari Kingdom, a kingdom that existed in Malang region, East Java, around the 13th century. The narrative focuses on the power struggle involving Ken Arok, the founder of the Singhasari Kingdom. The game is enriched with dark fantasy elements and heavily based on the mythology from the Singhasari Kingdom era, such as the curse of the Mpu Gandring kris.
Based in Malang, Satriver Studio is a game studio founded by Dalih “Dede” Sugih in 2014. Satriver Studio is known for developing various games such as Baro Kart, Crazy Delivery Rumble, Sekawan Limo: Save and Rescue, and Jewel of Samudra.
