The anime adaptation of Cells at Work! (Hataraku Saibou!) is currently available with an Indonesian Dub. The dub is available since 27 June 2025 through the Muse Indonesia YouTube channel.

Shefai Studio is credited as the dubbing studio, with Mohammad Romli serving as the dialogue director. In addition to his role as the dialogue director, he has also voiced several characters in the anime.

Interestingly, the Indonesian dub of the Cells at Work! anime is different compared to the live-action version. They are produced by different studios with different voice casts. While Shefai Studio produced the anime version, the live-action version Indonesian dub is produced by Fresto Post Production.

Based on a manga by Akane ShimizuCells at Work! depicts the activities of different body cells in a healthy human body. The narrative centres on an inexperienced Red Blood Cell (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), who has just started her job to supply oxygen and nutrients to the entire human body. She eventually meets the White Blood Cell or Neutrophil (voiced by Tomoaki Maeno), who is responsible for eliminating harmful bacteria. They cooperate with other human cells to keep the body functioning and to defend it against pathogens and environmental challenges such as heat waves and allergies.

The Cells at Work! manga was first published in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shonen Sirius in March 2015. In addition to the main series, the author has also released several side stories and spin-offs. In Indonesia, the manga is currently being published by m&c! Publishers.

The first season of the Cells at Work! anime was produced by David Production with Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo’s Bizarre AdventureDrifters) as director. The anime series was aired on Indonesian Television via NET TV.
