Indonesian game developer Gamecom Team has officially released Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream, the sequel to their hit-action-comedy-beat-’em-up Troublemaker on 15 September 2025 via Steam. The release was accompanied by an announcement video featuring the theme song Tempat Terjauh by HENOHENOMOHEJI.
Set two years after the story of the first game, the Troublemaker 2 game continues the adventures of the Parakacuk gang and the Beyond Dream band in the fictional city of South Jayakarta. Players will step into the shoes of Jordan and Budi as they navigate friendship, rivalry, and ambition in a city full of secrets and stories.
While the sequel still maintains its beat-’em-up gameplay, it also incorporates the open-world element inspired by games such as the Ryu Ga Gotoku (Yakuza) series. The players can explore various parts of South Jayakarta’s city districts, discover shops, interact with locals, and follow numerous side quests involving both friends and South Jayakarta residents.
Troublemaker is also planned to be adapted into a live-action film titled Parakacuk with Lyto Pictures handling the film. Previously, Lyto Pictures has also managed to handle the Pamali duology film, both Pamali and Pamali 2: Dusun Pocong, with the latter being screened on 12 October 2024 in cinemas. Currently, the project is still in a pre-production phase, looking for a new film director who is willing to work on the film along with the cast.
Gamecom Team is a Game Developer from Jakarta, Indonesia. The first Troublemaker is the third game developed by the Gamecom Team after A Day Without Me and Babol: The Box Adventure. Previously, A Day Without Me was nominated as Indonesia’s favourite game in the 2020 Indonesia Gaming Award.
