On Monday (29/9), Indonesian game studio JSIProduction announced a new update for its blockchain-powered survival MMORPG, Reign Alter World. The game is currently in the Alpha phase and is available on the Google Play Store.
Set in a dystopian 22nd century, RAW centres around the near-total domination of humanity by Progressive Artificial Intelligence Neurotransmitter (PAINN). In the game’s lore, PAINN perceives humans as a burden and deploys Artificial Neurotransmitters (ANTs) to control them, pushing the world to the brink of extinction. Survivors form small communities, balancing survival against rival factions and struggling to rebuild civilisation.
Players can choose multiple paths, including political leadership as Governors or Mayors, managing regions and resources, or pursuing economic power through private Companies. Strategic planning, collaboration, and governance play crucial roles in ensuring the prosperity and survival of each region. The game also encourages player-versus-player combat and alliances as part of the broader survival experience.
JSI Production is a video game developer based in Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta. The studio first started as an outsourcing studio for various game projects. Later, the studio is involved in the Reign Alter World project, created in collaboration with U2U Network and SKALE.
