Following its successful run in Surabaya, the official Junji Ito: Mystery House (Junji Ito: Rumah Misteri) exhibition is set to open at Senayan Park (SPARK), LG Floor, from 23 October 2025 until 4 January 2026. Fans of Junji Ito will be invited to step into a grotesque world of stunning visuals and psychological tension.

Presented by FanDayOut, part of Provaliant Group, over 100 works and interactive experiences will immerse visitors in the universe of Junji Ito, a horror mangaka renowned for his intricate illustrations, chilling atmospheres, and deep psychological storytelling. “This exhibition brings Junji Ito’s nightmare world to life,” said Calvin Chandra, Creative Project Lead at FanDayOut.

“We want visitors to not only see his work but truly experience the dark atmosphere and visual beauty that define Ito’s creations,” Calvin added.

The highlight of the exhibition is the Mystery House (Rumah Misteri) attraction, which offers two distinct interactive routes:

Route A – Ville of Vengeance: Dedicated to Tomie, the eternally beautiful yet cursed girl, this path leads visitors through corridors reflecting obsession and immortality, complete with endless visual illusions and shadows that represent the darker side of human desire.

Route B – Ville of Evil: Exploring the bizarre world of Soichi Tsujii, the eccentric character with nails in his mouth, this route offers a more personal and terrifying experience. Visitors encounter sinister laughter, voodoo dolls, and strange rituals blurring the line between childhood mischief and genuine psychological horror.

A VIP / Full Experience Pass allows fans to explore both routes, accompanied by exclusive merchandise including Tomie and Soichi masks and limited-edition t-shirts.

In addition to the interactive routes, the Exhibition area showcases original visual archives from Ito’s famed series, including Tomie, Soichi, and Uzumaki. Designed like a labyrinth of nightmares, the area combines dramatic lighting, sound effects, and interactive visuals to maximise the immersive experience.

After exploring the horrors and beauty of Ito’s work, visitors can shop at the “Exclusive Pop-Up Store” for officially licensed merchandise imported directly from Japan. Items include T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, lenticular notebooks, cushions, tumblers, keychains, mousepads, pins, and other premium collectables.

Junji Ito: Mystery House will run daily from 1000 to 2100 West Indonesian Time. Tickets are available via TIX ID and the official Instagram account @fandayout. Ticket options include Regular Passes (single route), Full Experience Passes (both routes), VIP Tickets (both routes + exclusive t-shirt), and Full Experience + Gramedia Bundle (both routes + Uzumaki manga + Uzumaki poster).
