Indonesian game developers Xirius Studio and Leolit Games have officially announced their latest project, The Wandering Her. While a release date has not been announced yet, the game is available to wishlist on Steam.

The Wandering Her tells a heartfelt story about a child growing up alongside her grandmother, gradually learning the art of embroidery while uncovering memories hidden within threads and time. The game presents a quiet, reflective journey, focusing on everyday warmth, such as waking up to the aroma of homemade nasi goreng, while slowly revealing a deeper, more emotional mystery.

In terms of gameplay, players will engage in embroidery mechanics, stitching and restoring patterns that symbolise forgotten memories. Beyond stitching, the game also incorporates environmental puzzles. Players will explore illustrated panoramic settings, interact with meaningful objects, and uncover hidden clues scattered throughout each scene.

Xirius Studio is an Indonesian video game studio founded by a student of Indonesia Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta (ISI Yogyakarta). For this project, they collaborated with Leolit Games, an Indonesian video game developer based in Semarang, Central Java. Other games developed by Leolit Games include War Angels, Lato-Lato The GameMega PixelBrainrot Allstars Battle, and Bamboo Warrior.
