On Tuesday (7/2), the organizer announced that Comic Frontier 16 event will be rescheduled to 6-7 May 2023. According to the organizer, the date is changed due to unexpected development and changes in security arrangements around the venue area.

In an email sent to the participating circle, the organizer mentioned that this development is caused by VVIP attendance who will be around the venue area. However, the identity of the VVIP attendance has not been disclosed.

To address the issue, the organizer will hold a discussion session on the Comic Frontier Discord channel. The discussion will be started on Sunday, 12 February 2023, at 2000 West Indonesian Time.

Initially, Comic Frontier 16 was planned to be held on 11-12 March 2023 at Hall 8, 9, and 10 Indonesia Convention Expo (ICE) BSD, Tangerang.
