There are five worlds in this universe. The Black World, where night and magic reigns: Darkness Embrace. The Red World protected by gods and prayers: Terra Rubiri Aurora. The White World, where science and technology rule: System White Eguma. The Green World controlled by weapons and the military: Grunewald Silt. And finally, The Blue World: Earth. One day, the Halo which connects the five worlds, opened without notice, The World Connect, a sign of impending destruction. The power source that sustains the worlds, the World Crystals will lose their power, and when the five worlds join completely, all will be destroyed. This is the end of the worlds: World End. In order to save the worlds, girls with the power to do just that have assembled on Seiran Island on Earth, the Blue World. People call them the Progress Girls, with the special ability known as Exceed. And those who have the ability to link with the Progress and amplify their powers are called Alpha Drivers. The progress can use powerful abilities based on the strength of their relationship with their Alpha Driver. In order to prevent the end of all the worlds, World End, these girls continues to fight the Ouroboros.
Ange Vierge was an anime series which adapted from a TCG (Trading Card Game) with the same name. Although adapted from a card game, but there’s no any card or “card battling duel” scene in this anime. Instead from showed some card gaming scene, this anime presented some girls with their outstanding ability to prevent the world destruction. Maybe rather than Yu-Gi-Oh! or even Cardfight!! Vanguard this anime might be looked like Infinite Strator or maybe Vividred Operation. This was one of the interesting point from this anime because although being adapted from a TCG, there’s no any card-battling scene or reference and made this anime could be watched by anyone, those who played the Ange Vierge TCG or those who didn’t play any TCG before. Usually a TCG anime will be perceived as a kid shows because presented some card game battling, but actually this first episode of Ange Vierge was far beyond the kid shows. For almost 15 minutes this anime showed some scene where the girls were chattering each other while being in no any clothes, yes, being naked with all those shiny rays all over the screen. Animation-wise this anime had some amazing scene, especially the battle scene where there were some fluid animations and some dynamic cinematographics. For you who wanted to watch this anime, although this is an anime which was adapted from a TCG, chill, you can also enjoy it althought you didn’t play any TCG because there was no any card-battling here, and also please be cautious to your surrounding and be responsible when you watch this anime due to some adult contents in it. Banana is the name of a plant which the fruits are used as a food. This is a secret story of a banana that nobody knows. One day there was a banana who can move on its own. Hence, a cat born from that banana and soon it’s called as Bananya.
As its title implied, this show has a Banana and a -Nya (cat’s voice in Japanese, or so it seems) in it, and this show really presented a Cat in a Banana which looked cute than any other banana, or cat. Aside from that, this 3 minutes short series really fit to watched during your free time. With its cute character design, colorful and some simple comical sketchy visual made this anime felt so comfy. For you who likes Banana or Cats, you might want to watch this. Takumi Harada is a talented pitcher who successfully lead his junior baseball team reach semifinal in his regional baseball tournament. Unfortunately when he reach middle school, he has to leave his teammate because his parents move to a rural town in Okayama district. In his first day living in that town, he meet Go Nakagura, a catcher from junior regional team. Eventually Go asks Takumi to play baseball together and shows his best pitch. At first, Takumi reluctant to gives his best pitch. It makes Go feels annoyed and provoke Takumi to gives his best. But when Takumi gives Go his best pitching, the ball is too fast for a catcher at his skill.
In baseball, Battery is a term that refer collectively to players in pitcher and catcher position. That term actually pretty accurate to describe Battery the Animation, a baseball anime which focused on 2 characters, talented pitcher Takumi who famous for his fastball and catcher Go who challenged himself to catch Takumi’s fastball perfectly. Takumi also described as a complex character. He is a talented pitcher who, implicitly, has some problems. He tends to be arrogant and reluctant to treat others well. His ambitious nature also sometimes makes his grandfather, who also a pitcher in his younger age, worry. Aside the story, the cinematography looks pretty good here and the animation also looks neat. Other good aspect of this show is how they handled the interaction between Haruki and Go. Their chemistry and dialogue is good, yet at the same time, still feel normal without too much bromance hint, which make this show suitable for general sport or drama audience, not only the fujoshi (Dany Muhammad/Indonesian Anime Times)
