Indie game studio Berangin Creative has announced that their latest project Kejora will be released this year on Steam. Published by Soft Source, the game will be launched on 4 September 2025.
In the game, players will play as Kejora, a young girl who finds herself pursued by monstrous entities after uncovering a terrifying secret. Accompanied by her close friends, Kejora embarks on a journey to unravel the hidden truths lurking beneath the tranquil facade of her village.
The game was first introduced to the public in 2020 after Berangin Creative released the gameplay video on Facebook. Initially envisioned as a run-and-gun side-scrolling adventure inspired by titles such as Cuphead, the game has since been reimagined as a puzzle platformer. In August 2023, the studio released the game’s Steam page and also released the demo later that year.
Established in 2019, Berangin Creative is a video game and animation studio based in Indonesia. They are known for creating 2D animation trailers, content, and promotional videos for other Indonesian game studios such as Frame Rats and Digital Happiness.
