This will be the second time a Hatsune Miku concert is held in Indonesia. The last Hatsune Miku concert in Indonesia took place in 2014 during Miku Expo 2014. That concert was held on 28-29 May 2014 at the Jakarta Convention Centre.

For this year, the concert will be held on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at the Tennis Indoor Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta. Ticket sales will open on Tuesday, 22 July 2025, at 1200 West Indonesian Time, on the organisers’ official website.

Hatsune Miku is a Vocaloid character and virtual singer created by Crypton Future Media. Her voice is generated using Yamaha’s voice synthesiser software, and she is often depicted in media as a sixteen-year-old girl with long, turquoise twin-tails. During her live concerts, she performed onstage as an animated holographic projection. The organisers often use a specially coated glass screen to make Miku’s character appear onstage.

Beyond music, Miku has appeared in various forms of media, including video games and anime. She is the protagonist of several video games, such as the rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA and Project Sekai: Colorful Stage!, both published by SEGA. Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! was also adapted into an animated film titled COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing, which was screened in Indonesia in May 2025.
