Comic Frontier Organiser Opens Circle Registration for Comifuro 21

The biggest creator market event in Indonesia, Comic Frontier (Comifuro), will be held again this year on 15 to 16 November 2025. Dubbed Comifuro 21, the event will be held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, South Tangerang.

On Monday (7 July), the Comifuro organiser opened registration for participants who want to join the event as a circle on 17 July 2025. Interested participants can register through the official website.

How to Register a Circle at Comifuro

For those who want to enter Comifuro as a circle, here are the steps:

1. Comifuro provides two types of circle tables: Circle Space and Circle Booth. The cheaper circle space consists of a long table, while the circle booth will be provided with partitions.
2. The circle can choose to rent the circle tables for one day or two days.
3. Circle activities are held from 0930 to 1800 on each day.
4. Circle participants can register at https://comifuro.net. The selection process will then begin. In the later days, the organiser will announce the circles that pass the selection process.
5. For the selected circles, they need to make a payment according to the note sent by the Comifuro organiser.
6. After the selected circles make a payment, the Comifuro organiser will arrange the circle number.

Things That Are Allowed in Comifuro 21

The materials that can be sold in Comifuro 21 are:

1. Original content
2. Fandom content (made by fans).

Type of content that can be sold:

1. Print media: comic book, magazine, artbook, photobook, novel. etc.
2. Games: video games, analogue games, etc
3. Audio content: music, ASMR audio, etc
4. Merchandise: Handmade craft, acrylic standee, clothing, deskmat, etc.

Things That Are Not Allowed in Comifuro 21

Here are things that can’t be sold in Comifuro 21:

1. Bootleg or counterfeit goods, such as printing key visuals from anime or manga onto T-shirts for sale at Comifuro.
2. Content, products, and/or other goods that use the official logos from other IPs.
3. Content, products, and/or other goods that include assets not created by the circle members.
4. Content, products, and/or other goods that deliberately use assets created by tracking/eyeballing.
5. NFT/Blockchain/Web3 related content.
6. AI-generated content.
7. Commercially mass-produced official goods from other IPs that are not owned and not produced by the circle members, such as idol photos, toys, or similar goods.
8. Content, products, and/or other goods that are violated and are prohibited by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Comifuro is a biannual exhibition of creative works held annually since 2012. Comic Frontier has gathered hundreds of creators, not only from fans of anime, manga, and various things about Japan, but also from popular culture from other countries like Western comics, K-Pop, Indonesian comics, and original indie works. Comic Frontier has also featured famous creators to share their experiences with visitors of the event.
