VTuber community-based event organizer, Virtunite Indonesia, has held an offline event where VTuber fans gather to enjoy karaoke and free talk sessions with VTubers with other visitors, titled Virtunite Vol 2, at Sembilan Cafe Bintaro, South Jakarta, on Saturday, 19 July 2025. Previously, Virtunite Indonesia has held the Virtunite Vol. 1 event on 12 April 2025 at Kopi Kodam Tebet with Chrysaora Hali, Rainonly, Shiina Asherah, and DJ Anoku.

This event introduces seven Indonesian VTubers as the guest stars. They are Nao Naoki, Ahomika from Oristarium, Chelly McBunny from AfteRain Project, Altair Aquila from Virtunix, Lily Ifeta from Re:Memories, Yuela Guigui from Project:LIVIUM, and DJ Kaizu Ryu from Aurora Project. This event is also featured Indonesian cosplayer Effore as the Master of Ceremony (MC).

The event was held on the second floor of Sembilan Cafe, in a mini theatre. After being guided by staff up a steep staircase, attendees were greeted by Irfan Dhafirwan and the Virtunite team before entering the event area.
Each VTuber performed six songs, which consist of a mix of originals and covers. Between the songs, the VTubers also add free talk sessions and group photo opportunities. Outside the mini theatre, attendees could claim prizes based on their purchased packages:
-
Regular Package: sticker sheet + lightstick.
-
Deluxe & VIP Packages: included posters, greeting cards, and photo cards (in addition to Regular items).
-
VIP Package: Just front-row seating.
The atmosphere inside the venue
The event opened with Nao Naoki, who set the mood with Ievan Polkka and encouraged the audience to loosen up. Her renditions of AiScReam (Love Live!), Bling-Bang-Bang-Born (Creepy Nuts), and Odo (Ado) captivated the crowd, with her voice closely resembling the original singer.
Next was Ahomika (Oristarium), whose “auntie-like” voice and comedic presence reminded many of Hololive’s Houshou Marine. Songs such as Hey Kids! (Noragami), Renai Circulation, and I’m Your Treasure Box highlighted her unique charm. A hilarious moment occurred when the projector shut off after an audience member accidentally bumped their head on the stairs.
Chelly McBunny (AfteRain Project), who debuted on 3 April 2025, surprised the audience with her song selection: Bunny Girl, Just Give Me a Reason (My First Story), Pretender, and Fortune Cookie. Her free talk session became a highlight as fans enthusiastically supported her via QR code scans on the screen.
After the first three VTubers performed, there was a short break for attendees to take a break or do other activities, like I am trying to organise my notes during my visit to Virtunite Vol. 2 and getting some fresh, warmer air outside the venue.
After the short break was over, Altair Aquila (Virtunix) energised the crowd with performances of Idol (YOASOBI), Help! (Kobo Kanaeru), and Kawaii ne Yandere. Her session featured playful antics, including Miku plushies, a blood-stained knife gag, and even a transformation into a kuyang, which sent waves of laughter and mock fear through the audience.
Lily Ifeta (Re:Memories) brought warmth and charm, performing Country Roads with her guitar, transporting listeners into a cosy, scenic mood. Her emotional rendition of Hope is the Thing with Feathers (Honkai Star Rail) had fans waving lightsticks in unison, creating a concert-like experience.
One of the most anticipated guests, Yuela Guigui (Project:LIVIUM), impressed with her playful performance of Taut Hati (Moona Hoshinova), Dango Daikazoku (Clannad), and Be Happy (Mocha). Although technical issues with her connection caused delays, GuiGui kept the energy alive. A humorous highlight came when an audience member brought a tape measure to measure her, joined by an event organiser, sparking laughter.
Finally, DJ Kaizu Ryu (Aurora Project) closed the event with a live in-person performance. Wearing a mask to conceal his identity, his remixes added a cool, high-energy finale that perfectly wrapped up Virtunite Vol. 2.
