On Monday (28/7), Japanese digital marketplace website DLsite has introduced new payment methods for users in Indonesia. Through its official social media channels, DLsite confirmed that users can now purchase DLsite Points with various local payment options, including QRIS, OVO, Dana, and ShopeePay.

Previously, the platform only allowed Indonesian customers to make purchases via BitCash, a prepaid service that could be topped up through providers such as Dana and Kredivo. The platform, renowned for its extensive selection of doujinshi products, offers works ranging from all-ages content to adult-oriented titles such as including games, comics, light novels, and other digital products.

First established in 1996 under the name Soft Island and rebranded as DLsite.com in 2001, the platform has grown into one of Japan’s leading platforms for doujinshi and indie creations. In 2023, the service expanded its reach further by introducing Indonesian-language support, thereby strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia.
