Previously, Indonesian game developer Gambir Studio released the demo and trailer for their upcoming game KuloNiku: Bowl Up!. The game demo is currently available on the game’s Steam page, while the exact release date has not been announced yet.

Later, on 24 September 2025, the studio announced their collaboration with video game publisher Raw Fury. The Swedish-based publisher will act as the publisher of KuloNiku: Bowl Up!, while the game is still being developed by Gambir Studio.

KuloNiku: Bowl Up! is a cute and comedic cooking simulation game about running a bakso (Indonesian meatball) restaurant. The story of the game is focused on a protagonist who inherits a restaurant in the cosy town of KuloNiku. The player has to take on eccentric orders from quirky locals, serve up delicious meals, and defeat the rival restaurant to become the best restaurant in town.

KuloNiku: Bowl Up!‘s first teaser trailer was released on 8 February 2025. Later, Gambir Studio held a public playtest from 29 April to 5 May on Steam. The game was also featured at the Wholesome Direct Showcase on 7 June 2025.

Gambir Studio is a game developer based in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, founded in 2016. Before KuloNiku: Bowl Up!, the studio had developed various games, including Selera Nusantara, a casual cooking game centred on Indonesian cuisine, Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur, and a horror game, The Anomalous Hour.
