“Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3 to Premiere in January 2026, with Special Theatre Screenings in Indonesia

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been officially confirmed to premiere on 9 January 2026. To celebrate the upcoming release, CBI Pictures has announced that Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution, a special compilation film that consists of the first two episodes of the third season, will be screened in selected cinemas across Indonesia.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will adapt the Culling Game arc of the manga. The film is scheduled to premiere in Indonesian theatres starting 3 December 2025, with a special rerelease of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 set to screen earlier on 21 November 2025.

Written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, the original Jujutsu Kaisen manga tells the story of Yuji Itadori, a student who lives in a world where negative energy called Curse can bring disaster to the world. Itadori’s life changed as he becomes a student at a school that trains Curse exterminators. The manga has been serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018 and received an anime adaptation that began airing in October 2020. In Indonesia, the manga has been published by Elex Media Komputindo since January 2021.
