Matoi Sumeragi is a middle school girl who just recently moved to city of Kamaya with his father and wished for a peaceful ordinary life. She worked part time as a shrine maiden at the Tenman Shrine along with the daughter of the shrine’s head, Yuma Kusanagi. When Yuma attempted a ritual of Divine Possession that has been passed along in her family for generations to rid of evil spirits, It was Matoi who accidentally gain the power to banish the evil spirits.

Beyond expectation, Matoi’s opening act presents armed soldiers being slaughtered by a supernatural force. Considering some of director Sakoi’s past work, though, perhaps it shouldn’t a surprise that Matoi turned out to be a horror comedy; striving to combine depictions of paranormal terror and investigation with silly daily life and character antics, accentuated with deliciously loose, cartoonish animation. Tonally, the narrative feels kind of like Ghostbusters, but with the exorcisms performed by divinely possessed magical girls instead of faux nuclear science, and peppered with the usual anime jokes instead of American nerd jokes. Tamaki Honda started her High School life by searching a suitable club for her. By chance, she met a doujinshi game creating club, and she took interest by what they were doing. After remembering a childhood experience of her who able to create an idea for games, she then decided to join that club, who named themselves as SNS Club. Unexpectedly, the club was filled with some strange people, however Honda was still optimistic with her desire of creating games.

If you still miss New Game which has just passed last season, then this anime is a worth to try. Like any anime that full of loli character, all people in here seem younger than normal high schoolers (although that is the interest point of loli character, so just try to enjoy it). Some comedy scenes also hit the mark, maybe it’s better to say that they are “charming”. And just like New Game, this anime seems to be focused more on “the interaction between characters” rather than “discussing about technical things related to game creating”, although that is not 100% vanished. Aside from so many characters that could rise up your blood sugar level, this anime is suited to be watched when you’re relaxing. (M Razif Dwi Kurniawan – The Indonesian Anime Times)

Naoto Azuma and Takuma Fuji swore to take vengeance for Daisuke and destroy GWM and Tiger’s Den from Wrestling World as Tiger Mask and Tiger the Dark.

You may like John Cena or Brock Lesnar, but this one is New Japan Pro Wrestling!. If you’re going to say “ah the drawing sucks” or “where’s the cute girls? this series is shit” From the very first episode, you deserve to get a chokeslam. If you are a man, edgy or anti-mainstream anime goers, you need to watch Tiger Mask W and feel the manliness flow through your body!!!! (Naufalbepe – KAORI Newsline)

Time Bokan 24 tells Tokio, an ordinary junior high school kids who live in present that suddenly became a member of the Space-Time Administrative Bureau (Jikuu Kanri Kyoku) in the 24th century along with Calen. With beetle robot Mechabuton and another 23 Bokan mecha, they were tasked to find “True History” which turned out to be more hilarious than expected. Their task was always hindered by Bimajo, Tsubuyakky, and Suzukky who commissioned by publishers History Paradise to “protect” the history as written in the book.

Old recipes, new packaging. That’s what is presented by this anime series. For readers who watched original Time Bokan series on Indonesian television will certainly be familiar with the distinctive elements presented in the Time Bokan 24, such as the protagonist duo Tokio & Calen, the antagonist trio Bimajo-Tsubuyakky-Suzukky, and of course the beetles robot which can explore time. For readers who have not watched the anime series predecessor, this anime still managed to entertain with its well-executed eccentric premise. Time Bokkan 24 may be an option for readers seeking comedy anime with light-hearted story. (Tanto Dhaneswara – KAORI Newsline)
