On 28 February 2026, the Indonesian VTuber community, Virtunix, announced that they will put their VTuber operations on indefinite hiatus. The announcement was made after a thorough discussion between all community members regarding their future.
Following its hiatus announcement, all assets, including characters and Discord servers, will be returned to each talent affiliated with Virtunix for management. Later, those VTuber talents will continue their career as independent VTubers. This decision was made to ensure all parties have room to grow and develop, and to make sure the fans can continue to support them on their future journey.
Established on 18 October 2020, Virtunix was a virtual YouTuber community from Indonesia. The agency had introduced 25 talents in almost six years of their operation. At the time of their closure, their Vtuber agency consisted of eight active VTubers: Allyra Violette, Altair Aquila, Fumiko Runa, Futsuri, Fuyu Sierra, Kuma Kumarine, Mitsuyama Haruka, and Syluxvia.
