First aired in Spring 2018, the Darling in the FRANXX anime is now available on Crunchyroll with an Indonesian dub.

Created as a collaboration work between A-1 Pictures and Trigger, Darling in the FRANXX takes place in the future, where humanity has constructed a stronghold of defence after the world has been destroyed. Inside that stronghold of defence is a place called Mistilteinn. Sometimes referred to as the “bird’s nest,” Mistilteinn is where Franxx pilots are made. The children who reside there do not know the free sky or the outside world. Their only purpose in life is to fight using Franxx robots to battle the enigmatic giant creatures that destroy humanity.
One of the kids residing inside Mistilteinn is a boy named Hiro, who is called by his codename “016”. Once known as a prodigy, his ability is falling behind compared to other pilots. For others, his existence seems unnecessary, a deadweight. His life changed when a mysterious girl with two horns, known as “Zero Two”, appeared. Together with Zero Two, they have cooperated to pilot the Franxx together and defend humanity.
The anime has been adapted into a manga series by To Love-Ru illustrator Kentaro Yabuki, which was serialised in Shonen Jump+ from January 2018.
