Ahead of the Formula 1 (F1) race at the Suzuka Circuit, Japan, a surprise news emerged from one of the F1 teams. On Wednesday (18/3), an American-based F1 team, TGR Haas F1 Team, have announced a major collaboration with one of Toho’s most iconic franchises, Godzilla.

The collaboration was revealed on the official social media accounts of TGR Haas F1 Team and Godzilla. A teaser video showcased a Haas Formula One car completing several laps around a volcanic landscape filled with flowing lava.

This collaboration will be featured during the Japanese Grand Prix from 27–29 March 2026 and the United States Grand Prix from 23–25 October 2026, ahead of the release of the film Godzilla Minus One, which will premiere on 6 November 2026. TGR Haas F1 Team will also use a special livery for the Japanese Grand Prix. This special livery will be unveiled on 24 March 2026 at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya at 1300 JST (1100 West Indonesian Time).

In addition to the special livery, an exclusive line of collaborative merchandise will also be released during both the Japanese and United States Grand Prix. The merchandise will be available via the official Haas F1 online store.

During the 2026 season, TGR Haas F1 Team has already delivered promising results in the opening two races. One of their driver, Oliver Bearman, is currently sitting in fifth position in the 2026 F1 Drivers’ Championship after securing points at both the Australian and Chinese Grands Prix. As a team, TGR Haas F1 Team currently sits fourth in the Constructors’ Championship standings.
