Previously, it was announced that the American-based Formula 1 team, TGR Haas F1 Team, had announced a major collaboration with one of Toho’s most iconic franchises, Godzilla. This collaboration will be featured during the Japanese Grand Prix from 27–29 March 2026 and the United States Grand Prix from 23–25 October 2026, ahead of the release of the film Godzilla Minus One, which will premiere on 6 November 2026.
As a part of their collaboration, TGR Haas F1 Team will also use a special livery for the Japanese Grand Prix. On Tuesday (24/3), the team finally reveal the special livery in an event held at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya at 1300 JST (1100 West Indonesian Time).
The special livery still features TGR Haas’ white, black, and red colours that they use this season, with noticeable extra Godzilla presence on both sides of the car.
TGR Haas F1 Team principal Ayao Komatsu welcomed the recently announced partnership between Haas and Toho. “This is truly an extraordinary opportunity to showcase our brand to new audiences, and it’s a first for both TGR Haas F1 Team and Toho,” he added.
In addition to the special livery, an exclusive line of collaborative merchandise will also be released during both the Japanese and United States Grand Prix. The merchandise will also be available via the official Haas F1 online store.
During the 2026 season, TGR Haas F1 Team has already delivered promising results in the opening two races. One of their driver, Oliver Bearman, is currently sitting in fifth position in the 2026 F1 Drivers’ Championship after securing points at both the Australian and Chinese Grands Prix. As a team, TGR Haas F1 Team currently sits fourth in the Constructors’ Championship standings.
