Unlike the previous edition, October brought plenty of new chapters and surprises from the Indonesian Virtual YouTuber scene. From new virtual groups and offline events popping up across Indonesia to upcoming debut streams held on nearly the same date by two VTuber agencies, and even new surprises at the Comifuro 23 event.

In this article, we summarised every event, achievement, new original songs, and more as many as possible from Indonesia. There is a lot of VTuber news that we can’t cover on our site. These segments will cover all the news from the VTuber world from 1-31 October 2026.

  1. Aya Aulya has reached 100 thousand subscribers on YouTube on 11 October 2026 after 1,5 years of career as an independent VTuber.
  2. Asuka Jetto has reached 20 thousand subscribers on YouTube on 16 October 2026.
  3. Ayunda Risu‘s latest song, S.O.Re : Song Of Reality, has reached 100 thousand viewers on 20 October 2026.

Events

  1. On 4 October 2026, Indonesian indie VTuber Shiina Asherah held Cruise Night Club with Dyolow and BAWANG as her guest stars on her Discord server from 2000 Western Indonesia Time (WIT) to 2230 WIT.
  2. VTuber agency Oristarium has opened a booth at the Itasha Domei event, which was held on 10-11 October 2026 at QBIG, BSD City.
  3. From 23-25 October 2026, hololive held an official program called Compass Horizon that focused on travel and tourism in Indonesia, hosted by all Indonesian and ReGloss Hololive talents. Divided into two sessions, Watchalong Party from 1645 WIT on official channel of hololive Indonesian language, and OmotenaQ from 1700 WIT on hololive official channel. In addition, the episodes are also separated into three episodes: Food, Culture, and Leisure.
  4. During this Compass Horizon event, AMatchaChi Matcha Cafe, an F&B company based in Yogyakarta, has collaborated with hololive. In this collaboration, AMatchaChi Matcha Cafe held a Watchparty event for Compass Horizon on 23-25 October 2026 at Plaza Ambarrukmo, Hall A (2nd Floor), Yogyakarta.

Announcements

  1. On 3 October 2026, AfteRain revealed their upcoming 4th generation with three talents, better known as R:TH 3/4. They consist of Delia Rinquinn, Miri Murasaki, and Nemu Yasumi. The group are scheduled to debut on 7 November 2026.
  2. VTuber agency Whicker Butler introduced their upcoming 2nd generation, also known as ZWEILUX, consisting of three VTubers on 7 October 2026. Their new generation consists of: Hiyori Renalie, Vanessa Yue, and Yukine Clawy. The group are scheduled to hold a debut concert on 7 November and a debut personal for all three VTubers the following day (8/11).
  3. In addition to introducing their 2nd generation, Whicker Butler has also introduced their newest talent, Lilian Grimmxandra (Lili), as a Whicker Butler Affiliate on 11 October 2026, accompanying Keiko Lynx, who was introduced last month.
  4. On 13 October, Comic Frontier announced that invited virtual talents by Arunika Virtual Agency were presented a special performance for the Comifuro 23 event, held on Saturday, 31 October 2026 at Hall 5 Main Stage from 1500 to 1600 Western Indonesia Time. Notable guest stars include Re:Memories, MagniV, Oristarium, and Prism:NOVA.
  5. Peanut stain, a clothing brand from Jakarta, Indonesia, has announced their collaboration with hololive on 20 October 2026. Featuring Ayunda Risu, Kaela Kovalskia, and Kobo Kanaeru, they opened their pre-order promo, as well as opening their booth at the Comic Frontier 23 event, at Corporate Booth Area #1101a.
  6. On 23 October 2026, hololive collaborated with SUNRISEPOP for their holonatsu Paradise, where they opened their booth at the Comic Frontier 23 event at Corporate Booth #1203. The collab featured many hololive talents, including Kobo Kanaeru from Indonesia.
  7. Indonesian Virtual Idol Group KY:MERA, which consisted of Shin Derra, Mythia Batford, Pomubochi, and Lioye, debuted through their debut stream on 23 October 2026. In addition, they are also partnered with Selfie Time and Fantech for the Comifuro 23 event on 25 October 2026.
  8. After more than 4 years of career as a Virtual YouTuber, on 30 October 2026, Airi Cordelia announced her graduation, which took place on 18 February 2027.
  9. PANDAVVA has officially become part of an Indonesian-based music label, Satu+one, following the release of their latest song, Langkah Kita. All future original tracks from the group will be released under the Satu+one banner.
