On 20 March 2026, Virtunite Indonesia announced on their social media that they will cancel their upcoming events, the Vtuber Corner AOI MIZU GAKURE and Virtunite Fest 1.0 events. Additionally, they Virtunite will also stop all their activities from March to April this year.
In addition to the cancellation of both events, Virtunite Indonesia also announced the resignation of their founder and chairman, Irfan Dhafirwan, starting on 19 March 2026. The decision was taken following a discussion among members of Virtunite Indonesia. For the transition period regarding the future of Virtunite Indonesia, Oshika Yokugi will take over the position as a temporary chairman.
Due to the conditions they faced, it will affect visitors, VTubers, and performers, causing the event to not run without issues. The event organiser has also deeply apologised to VTuber agencies who have collaborated to fill the booth due to this inconvenience.
Originally scheduled on 4 April 2026 from 1200 to 1800 Western Indonesian Time (GMT+7) at Mantra Space, Kebayoran, South Jakarta, the Virtunite Fest 1.0 was the event where VTuber fans and VTubers gathered in one event. For those who have already purchased the ticket, the fee will be refunded immediately by the event organiser through Virtunite Indonesia’s social media.
Virtunite Indonesia is a community event organiser that primarily focuses on independent VTuber events. Established in October 2020 by former founder and chairman, Irfan Dhafirwan, they have successfully held many events and booths in Indonesia, including the V-Iftar and Ngabuburit with Virtunite & Friends at the time of this writing.
