On 3 September 2025, following a discussion among staff, guests, and stakeholders, Virtunite Indonesia and Pinnacle Party announced on social media that they would be postponing and rescheduling their upcoming event, VTuber DJ Liveset 4. This decision has been made due to the political unrest in several Indonesian cities, particularly Jakarta.
The unrest began in late August 2025, when demonstrations broke out across major cities in response to low minimum wages and perceived lavish perks for lawmakers. The unrest became more violent when a motorcycle taxi driver passed away after being hit by a police tactical vehicle. While the overall situation has calmed down, there is still concern about safety and transportation, ultimately prompting organisers to postpone the event.
Originally scheduled on 6 September 2025 from 1100 to 1900 Western Indonesian Time at Zona Korea Creative Space, Mangga Dua, West Jakarta, the new date for VTuber DJ Liveset 4 will be announced on a later date through Virtunite Indonesia and Pinnacle Party’s social media.
VTuber DJ Liveset 4 is an offline event where VTuber fans gather to enjoy dancing and interact with DJ VTubers. This will be the fourth DJ Liveset event held this year, with the first event held in 2023, while the second and third events were held in 2024.
Virtunite Indonesia is a community-based event organiser that mainly focuses on independent VTuber events. Established in October 2020 by Irfan Dhafirwan, they have successfully held various events in Indonesia, including the Virtunite Vol 2.
