Assassination Classroom: Our Time anime film is set to be screened in Indonesian cinemas starting from 5 June 2026. Distributed in Indonesia by Muse Asia and CBI Pictures, the film will be screened in several cinema chains, including CGV Cinemas Indonesia, Cinema XXI, and Cinepolis Indonesia.
Before the Indonesian release, a special screening will also be held on 30 May 2026 at CGV Grand Indonesia in Jakarta. The ticket for this special screening reportedly sold out within 10 minutes of sales opening on 20 May 2026.
Attendees who secured tickets will receive exclusive merchandise, including a 10th Anniversary A3 poster and an Illustration Card Set. Meanwhile, regular screenings will also feature special merchandise giveaways at selected CGV and Cinepolis cinemas.
Adapted from a manga by Yusei Matsui, the original manga of Assassination Classroom follows Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School. When a mysterious creature chops the moon down to a permanent crescent, the students of class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Middle School find themselves confronted with an enormous task: assassinate the creature responsible for the disaster before Earth suffers a similar fate.
However, the monster, dubbed Koro-sensei, can fly at speeds of up to Mach 20, which he demonstrates freely, leaving any attempt to subdue him in his extraterrestrial dust. Furthermore, the misfits of 3-E soon find that this strange, tentacled monster is more than just undefeatable, he is the best teacher they have ever had.
Assassination Classroom: Our Time will adapt the manga chapter that was left out in the original anime series. It sets fifteen days before Class 3-E’s deadline to assassinate Korosensei. During that time, the students begin reminiscing on everything they have experienced together with Koro-sensei. The students look back on how much they have changed since the beginning of the year.
In Indonesia, the manga was published by Elex Media Komputindo. The manga has also been adapted into live-action movies.
