On 25 February 2024, Hololive Production VTuber Kobo Kanaeru released her fourth original song, titled “Sebatas Video Call“. The song is currently available on her YouTube channel.
Kobo Kanaeru had previously released a YouTube Short singing part of the song back in June 19th 2023, as a teaser for the full song.
Kobo Kanaeru wrote the lyrics to the song herself, alongside Indonesian composer Erikson Jayanto. Erikson is also credited as composer and vocal director. Meanwhile, Rajasa (Thesingingchild) is credited as mixer and co-vocal director.
The music video was produced by Whyusan, while Kanauru provided the jacket model for Kobo, with logo design by jessycadraws. Video submissions featured in the MV are credited under Kobolonimbus, Kobo’s official channel membership name. (A portmanteau of “Kobo” and “cumulonimbus”)
Previously, Kobo Kanaeru has also released three original songs, titled “Mantra Hujan“, “Oh! Asmara” and “Entah…” respectively. The latter, “Entah…“, was released under the music label holo-n, a joint label between Hololive Production and Universal Music.
Kobo Kanaeru is an Indonesian virtual talent who is currently active on YouTube. She is a third generation member of hololive ID, a virtual talent agency owned by Cover Ltd.
As of 3 March 2024, she has 2.33 million subscribers on YouTube, making her the most subscribed Virtual YouTuber in Southeast Asia.
