hololive VTuber Moona Hoshinova (Moona) and South Korean rock band KARDI have released their new collaboration song, Night Train to Nowhere, on Monday, 14 September 2026. The song is available on Moona Hoshinova’s YouTube channel and various music streaming platforms the following day.
KARDI is a rock band from South Korea consisting of four members and established on 2021. The members are: Kim Yeji as the vocalist, Hwang Leen as the guitarist and drum programmer, Hwang Inkyu as the bassist, and Park Dawool as the geomungo player, a traditional musical instrument from South Korea.
Before her upcoming original song launch, Moona posted two video teasers for the song on 11 and 12 September 2026 on her channel.
On the day of the launch, she broadcast a special birthday stream. In this stream, she announced the song to the public.
Moona provided the vocals and wrote the lyrics herself. In addition, she also wrote the song with Icazahra. KARDI and Tyas Pratama are credited as music arrangers. Rizki Salman Alfarizi handled Indonesian traditional music. byootori and Moona produced the music video.
Night Train to Nowhere is Moona’s first collaboration with KARDI. It is also her second collaboration after 100% and her second single released in 2026 following Distortion. Both 100% and Distortion were part of Moona’s first album, PANDORA, released on 15 February 2025.
Moona Hoshinova is an Indonesian virtual YouTuber who debuted on 11 April 2020. Together with Airani Iofifteen and Ayunda Risu, she was a member of hololive ID‘s first generation, also known as AREA15, before hololive ID was merged with other international hololive branches in September 2026.
As of 26 September 2026, she has 1.42 million subscribers on YouTube, making her the most-subscribed VTuber of her generation and the third most-subscribed in Indonesia.
