Indonesian creator market event Comic Frontier (Comifuro) will return later this year. At the end of the Comifuro XX event, the organisers announced that the next event, Comifuro 21, will be held from 15 to 16 November 2025 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, South Tangerang.
Comifuro is a biannual exhibition of creative works held annually since 2012. Comic Frontier has gathered thousands of creators from anime, manga, games, western comics, K-pop, Indonesian comics, and many more fandoms. Over the years, Comic Frontier has also featured special guests, including notable creators and industry professionals.
The most recent event, Comifuro XX, was held from 24 to 25 May 2025, utilising Hall 6 to 10 of ICE BSD. This event was attended by more than 1,000 circles from Indonesia and overseas.
In addition to independent circles, Japanese entertainment company Bushiroad also attended the Comifuro XX with various exclusive programs including an autograph session with Cardfight!! Vanguard illustrator NOMISAKI, meet-and-greets with voice actresses Yuka Nishio and Yuzuki Watase, and a Q&A session with Bushiroad President Takaaki Kidani.
