On 15 February 2025, Indonesian VTuber agency Project:LIVIUM hosted a maid cafe event with a VTuber theme Livium Valentine Maid Cafe. The event took place at Kopi Kodam Tebet, South Jakarta.
The event featured five cosplayers dressed as maid version of Project:LIVIUM VTubers. They were Effore as Lillis Infernallies, Kanano as Yura Yozakura, Nami as Indira Naylarissa, Ayr Omayra as Silvia Valleria, and Neechan as YuelaGuiGui.
At the front of the restaurant, I was greeted by the iconic Gundam statue and an eye-catching event banner. When I entered, Livium staff members were already on duty and a large number of guests. As soon as I entered, I was welcomed by Irfan Dhafirwan, one of the event staff, together with his team. After we introduced ourselves, I was permitted to take photos and film the main event area, which was covered in pink paperboard.

A pin, a set of stickers, a keychain, a mat, a coaster, and the art print were all available for purchase at the merchandise store located within the event area. After registration, the visitors received exclusive merchandise. As there was no special themed menu, guests could choose from four different food and drink options offered by the restaurant. Payment was required in advance and collected.
In the event, there are many Gundam collections and several anime figures displayed in glass cabinets. There were also products from the Transformers series, as well as unique merchandise that gave the cafe its own identity. For Gundam and anime fans, this restaurant provides a uniqueness that only exists in this place.
While the event venue was held in Jakarta, there were visitors outside the city who came to the event. The KAORI Nusantara team managed to interview two of these visitors: Bagus from Cibitung, and Raka from Denpasar.
According to Bagus, he learned about this event from his friend who posted about it on Instagram. The main reason he came to this event was because of curiosity. He wanted to know what a maid cafe event was like. Turned out, he was impressed with the event because of the decoration, the event as a whole, and the VTuber talents. He expressed hope that all Project:LIVIUM VTubers would be able to participate in future events.
Meanwhile, Raka discovered the event from Project:LIVIUM official Discord server which he became a member of for about a year. He came to the event because he wondered what a VTuber-themed maid cafe would be like. This was his first time visiting a maid cafe, and he found the experience fun and beyond his expectations. He also mentioned that he frequently interacts with VTubers and works as a photographer for cosplayers, which made the event particularly fulfilling for him. Raka hopes that future Livium events can be held in larger venues with more VTuber participants.
