Indonesian indie game developer Dead Leg Production has unveiled the prototype for their latest project, Need for Seat, a comedy racing game where players race office chairs through workplace-inspired tracks.
The prototype is now available to play via their official itch.io page. While a full release date has not yet been announced, the prototype offers a glimpse into the game’s humorous concept where the players can race inside an office building, drifting with a chair, and getting the power up.
According to the developer, the idea of the game randomly during while they are busy fixing a bug. After a late-night crunch to fix various bugs, the team is so stressed that they suddenly got this idea to make a game about racing inside the office with your work chair. Later, they developed the idea into a game prototype.
