On their social media, Muse Asia has announced they have licensed My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s. More information about the streaming platform and the countries where the anime will be available has not been announced yet.
My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s follows the story of Akira Oda, a boy so unremarkable that people often forget he is even there. His unassuming nature, however, becomes his greatest asset when his entire class is transported to a fantasy world and he slips into his new role as a silent assassin. With his unusually high starting stats and several inconsistencies surrounding the summoning, Akira suspects that something is amiss.
Muse Asia is a Singapore-based YouTube channel operated by Muse Communication Singapore, a subsidiary of Muse Communication Co., Ltd. The channel legally streams anime with English subtitles for audiences across Southeast Asia.
In addition to the Muse Asia YouTube channel, the company has also launched country-specific channels such as Muse Indonesia, Muse Malaysia and Muse Thailand, which provide anime with subtitles in their respective local languages. They also distribute their anime to various platforms outside YouTube, such as iQIYI, Bilibili, Crunchyroll, and Vidio.
