Phoenix Gramedia has announced that it will officially launch its e-commerce website on 15 September 2025.
The creation of Phoenix Gramedia’s e-commerce website has been the company’s intention from the start, as stated by Gramedia General Manager Adi Ekatama when the joint venture between Kompas Gramedia and Kadokawa was first signed in January 2024.
“This joint venture will create a new digital platform for books, including e-commerce and a new e-book platform. Indonesian books published by Gramedia until now will be included in the platform,” Adi said.

Currently, the website of Phoenix Gramedia can be accessed at www.phoenixgramedia.id. However, the marketplace functionality has not been activated yet.
Phoenix Gramedia is a publishing company formed through a joint venture between Kompas Gramedia and Kadokawa. The company focuses on distributing high-quality works in the anime, comics, and games (ACG) sector in Indonesia.
As of today, the publisher has released various manga and light novels in Indonesia, including Bungo Stray Dogs: Beast and Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian.
