Indonesian book publisher Phoenix Gramedia has announced that it will release the manga adaptation of Bungo Stray Dogs: Beast in August 2025. The announcement was made via Phoenix Gramedia’s official social media channels, where the title was included in their August 2025 release list.

In addition, Phoenix Gramedia has opened a pre-order period from 29 July to 4 August 2025. The pre-order is priced at IDR 220,000 and comes with several exclusive bonuses, including a special jacket cover, an acrylic bookmark, and a set of art prints.
Bungo Stray Dogs: Beast manga is based on a light novel spinoff from the Bungo Stray Dogs series. Written by Kafka Asagiri, the light novel story takes place in an alternate universe and reimagines the roles of key characters from the main series. The original light novel was inspired by the bonus story BEAST: Akutagawa the White, Atsushi the Black, which was distributed during the theatrical release of Bungo Stray Dogs: DEAD APPLE film on 3 March 2018.
The manga adaptation was illustrated by Shiwasu Hoshikawa and serialised in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shounen Ace magazine from 2018 to 2021. In addition to the manga, the light novel has also been adapted into a live-action film, which premiered in January 2022.
Previously, the light novel version was also released in Indonesia in March 2024 by Penerbit Clover, a novel imprint of m&c! Publishers, which is also part of the Kompas Gramedia group.
