Indonesian game developer Joykreatif has officially released their latest psychological horror game, Pikabuu: STOP!, on Steam.
Initially scheduled for release on 29 July 2025, the game was launched earlier than expected on 26 July 2025. The game is now available with multiple language options, including Indonesian, English, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Vietnamese.
Pikabuu: STOP! follows the story of Beni, a devoted husband and father whose life spirals out of control after a seemingly simple decision leads his family into a devastating crisis. The game invites players to step into Beni’s shoes and make critical choices that determine the fate of his household, offering six different endings shaped by player decisions.
Described as a mature, narrative-driven experience, Pikabuu: STOP! explores the harsh realities of gambling addiction, a problem commonly associated with Indonesia’s lower-income families. The game also features fast-paced button-mashing challenges and a heavy focus on emotional immersion.
Initially available on platforms like ITCH.IO and Google Play, Pikabuu: STOP! is part of the Pikabuu horror series, which includes various short-form horror titles with different themes, from haunted hospitals and ambulance drivers to tentacle horror and beyond. For this game, Joykreatif explores many mature themes such as domestic violence, financial ruin, and familial trauma.

For this game, Joykreatif also utilised generative AI to create assets. Some assets created by AI include asset textures, facial expressions, family photos, and translation support. However, core elements such as 3D models and programming were manually done by the Joykeratif team.
