Phoenix Gramedia Indonesia (PGI) has announced plans to publish the Japanese light novel Chitose-kun is in the Ramune Bottle in Indonesia. Further details regarding the release date and book availability have not been revealed yet.

Originally written by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz, Chitose-kun is in the Ramune Bottle follows the story of Saku Chitose, a popular high school student admired by both his classmates and teachers. He is the leader of a group of students named Team Chitose. Among its members is Yuuko Hiiragi, a female student who has feelings for him, though he does not reciprocate at all.

One day, Saku is asked by a teacher to convince a shut-in student, Kenta Yamazaki, to return to school. The series follows Saku, Yuuko, and the other members of Team Chitose helping other students deal with their problems.

The light novel is published in Japan by Shogakukan under their Gagaga Bunko imprint isince June 2019. It had been adapted into a manga, with illustrations provided by Bobcat, and serialised in Square Enix’s Manga Up! from April 2020 to February 2025. An anime television series adaptation produced by Feel premiered in October 2025.

Phoenix Gramedia Indonesia is a publishing company formed through a joint venture between Kompas Gramedia and Kadokawa. The company focuses on distributing high-quality works in the anime, comics, and games (ACG) sector in Indonesia.

As of today, the publisher has released various manga and light novels in Indonesia, including Bungo Stray Dogs: Beast, Who Killed the Brave?, and Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian. Their books are available in various bookstores and on their e-commerce website.
