Indonesian animation studio Ray Animate has released its latest short anime project, The Blooming, which premiered on 30 September 2025 through the studio’s official YouTube channel.
The Blooming follows the story of a young boy who ventures into a forest and discovers a mysterious building. There, he meets a girl who emerges from within, though her true identity and role remain shrouded in mystery as the story unfolds.
Based in Semarang, Central Java, Ray Animate previously produced a four-minute anime music video for Filosofi Awan Putih (White Cloud Philosophy) by Rizqa Fasirha. According to information from the studio’s official website, they are also developing several new titles, including Eden’s Cove, The Red Box Series, and Chaos Awaits – Irasshaimase Mother.
