Indonesian voice actor Edi Setiono, better known as Edi Dhosa or Edhos, known for his roles on various anime such as One Piece, Crayon Shin-chan, and Kobo-chan, has passed away. This was confirmed by his fellow voice actor, Ferry Fadly. He passed away on Saturday, 27 December 2025, at 0835 Western Indonesian Time (WIT), and was laid to rest that afternoon.
Edi Dhosa was regarded as one of the pioneering figures in Indonesia’s voice acting scene. He actively participated in several popular radio drama series and had previously collaborated with Sanggar Prathivi. As private television stations began to emerge and foreign programmes were increasingly dubbed into Indonesian, he expanded his career into film and television dubbing.

In addition to his success in radio dramas, he was a well-known voice actor who dubbed numerous Japanese anime series in the 2000s. He is the dubber in several anime series, including One Piece, Crayon Shin-chan, Kobo-chan, Cardcaptor Sakura, Bobobo, Tico and Friends, Ninku, Shaman King, and many more. In his later years, Edi Dhosa continued to dedicate himself to radio drama, working as the voice behind the EDHOS PRODUCTION YouTube account.
KAORI Nusantara expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Edi Dhosa. May God accept his deeds, forgive his sins and grant fortitude to his family. May his legacy continue to live on and be remembered for generations.
