On 27 April 2026, hololive VTuber Nerissa Ravencroft released the music video of her sixth original song, Blue World. The music video is currently available on her YouTube channel, with the song is available on various music streaming platforms since 28 March 2026.
The song was first announced on 23 March 2026. On the announcement, she mentioned that the song, composed and arranged by Persona and Shin Megami Tensei composer Shoji Meguro, would be released on music streaming services on 28 March 2026, at midnight Japan Standard Time (GMT+9). Four days later, on 27 March 2026, she also stated that a music video for her new song would be released within a month of the song’s release. A day before the music video premiere, on 26 April 2026, she announced that she would premiere her upcoming music video for her original song, Blue World.
For the song, Nerissa Ravencroft provided the vocals and lyrics herself. The music strings are provided by Hitoshi Konno Strings (今野均ストリングス), while Ryuichi Hagi (萩 龍一) handled the bass. Independent Virtual YouTuber from the United States, Miori Celesta, handled the audio timing and tuning. Biango is credited as the music mixing engineer.
For the music video, Yunarun and Miu are credited as the illustrators and music video producers.
Blue World is Nerissa’s ninth original song. Previously, she released eight original songs, Say My Name, Sweetest Scarlet, In My Feelings, SHATTER, Espresso, Good Luck, Babe!, the boy is mine, and OYOME♡HOLIC.
The first four original songs, Say My Name, Sweetest Scarlet, In My Feelings, and SHATTER are part of her first extended performance (EP) album, In My Feelings, which was introduced on 7 August 2024 on YouTube and various music streaming platforms.
