Yellow Hearts officially introduced themselves as a new video game publisher from Indonesia. In a nation that is dominated by many indie game studios but with a limited presence of publishers, Yellow Hearts aims to bring independent games created by Indonesian developers to the international market in response to the country’s rapidly expanding gaming industry and the growing recognition of local creative talent.
Yellow Hearts: What is it?

Yellow Hearts is a game publisher that specialises in creating and distributing the work of independent Indonesian developers to the international market. With a focus on PC and console platforms, Yellow Hearts offers end-to-end support using a collaborative approach, from funding and mentoring to marketing and publishing.
Indie Developers Appreciate Launch Day

During the Yellow Hearts Launch Day event held at the Garuda Spark Innovation Hub on 28 April, Yellow Hearts positioned themselves as a bridge for Indonesian indie developers to overcome key industry challenges, ranging from limited funding and lack of marketing support to access to global distribution.
“Indonesia has so much incredible creative talent. However, the journey to bringing games to the global market is not always easy,” said Brian Chuang, Head of Publishing at Yellow Hearts.
The event was also attended by several indie game developers and experienced teams in the gaming industry, who warmly welcomed the launch of Yellow Hearts.
Supported by Komdigi & EKRAF

This event brought together various industry stakeholders, including developers, content creators, and government representatives, in an effort to strengthen a more integrated and sustainable national gaming ecosystem.
“Indie game developers in Indonesia need publishers to help identify untapped potential in the global market. We hope that Yellow Hearts will encourage the growth of the creative economy, particularly in supporting local game developers,” said Alfreno Kautsar Ramadhan, Special Staff to the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi).
“We hope that Yellow Hearts can become a bridge for talented developers in Indonesia, not only strong in game development, but also able to understand market potential based on data, so that their work can be enjoyed more widely, both in Indonesia and globally,” said Irene Umar, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (EKRAF).
Presenting Two First Games as a First Step!

As a first step, Yellow Hearts is introducing the two game titles that reflect the quality and global potential of Indonesian developers:

Developed by Cuboids Interactive, this game was a winner of GameSeed 2025, organised by the Ministry of Creative Economy and the Indonesian Game Association. Irradiant Skies is an action roguelite with a high level of replayability, delivering a dynamic gaming experience.
New Steps in Advancing the Local Game Industry

This partnership between Yellow Hearts, TBA Studio, and Cuboids Interactive was forged through a business matchmaking program at the IGDX 2025 industry event organised by Komdigi, which is a key platform for connecting local publishers and developers.

“We believe there are many Indonesian developers with strong capabilities and the ability to create quality games. Therefore, Yellow Hearts can help game developers scale up and promote their games in Indonesia and even internationally,” said Shafiq Husein, President of the Indonesian Game Association (AGI).
