Following its official release in Japan on 29 April 2026, the new Kamen Rider Agito film has been confirmed for international screenings. The film will be made available in several countries across Southeast Asia and Latin America.

The confirmed regions for the screening include Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and various countries in Latin America. Further details regarding screening platforms, schedules, and formats are expected to be announced at a later date.

The original Kamen Rider Agito series was a collaboration project between Asatsu-DK and Toei. It was aired on TV Asahi from 28 January 2001 to 27 January 27 2002. The series also served as an indirect sequel to Kamen Rider Kuuga. It tells the story of a man named Shouichi Tsugami, who has no memory of who he was, where he came from, or how he came upon his peculiar circumstances to transform into a powerful superhuman, Kamen Rider Agito

This new Kamen Rider Agito film is a direct sequel to the original Kamen Rider Agito. Set 20 years after the ending of the original, the sequel depicts a once-peaceful world now threatened by mysterious beings resembling Agito, rumoured to represent the “perfect evolution” of humanity. In response, the special G Unit is reactivated, introducing a new user, Ruriko Aoi, who transforms into Kamen Rider G6. Despite her abilities, the threat proves overwhelming.

The film is produced by Shinichiro Shirakura, Naomi Takebe, and Hideaki Tsukada. Ryuta Tasaki serves as the script writer, with Toshiki Inoue directing the project. Veteran composer Toshihiko Sahashi also returns as the music composer.
