On Sunday (14/6), Aniplus Asia announced that they have licensed Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life. The series is scheduled to be broadcast on the same day as its Japanese airing schedule.
Adapted from a manga written and illustrated by Hekiru Hikawa (Pani Poni), Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life tells the story of Ryusei Narukami, a NEET who spends his life playing video games. To the outside world, he is just a shut-in. In reality, he is the modern-day reincarnation of a terrifying, legendary Demon King from a fantasy realm. The original manga has been serialised in Kodansha’s Monthly Morning Two magazine since August 2021.
