On 30 August 2024, JKT48 Virtual (JKT48V), the virtual sub-unit of the idol group JKT48, successfully held a grand 3D Showcase on the JKT48 YouTube channel. This 3D Showcase is an event to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the JKT48V sub-unit that was previously held at the JKT48 theatre entitled JKT48 Virtual 1st Anniversary Event on 18 August 2024.
The JKT48V 3D utilized the advanced 3D technology from AKA Virtual. They sang hits like Shonnichi (First Day), Otona Ressha (Adulthood Train), Terima Kasih, and Cosmos no kioku (Cosmos Memories) which gave an energetic performance. They also played in several games and succeeded in making the audience chuckle at their absurd actions.
Positive comments that overflowed the YouTube chat column further demonstrated the fans’ enthusiasm. The level of visual quality that was produced left many fans in awe. Let us anticipate what more this virtual unit will offer to its fans in the future.
