On 11 April 2026, Indonesian idol group JKT48 has released a new music video for Dekat Namun Jauh (Close Yet Far). This release also marked the debut of the new JKT48 subgroup, Team Passion, who performed the music in this video.
The song itself is an adaptation of “Chikai no ni Hanareteru”, a song originally performed by their sister group AKB48. “Dekat Namun Jauh” MV features strong visual elements, including artistic stacks of newspapers and fiery backdrops during performance scenes.
A total of 15 Team Passion members appear in the MV, including Abigail Rachel, Angelina Christy, Catherina Valencia, Cornelia Vanisa, Dena Natalia, Desy Natalia, Jessica Chandra, Kathrina Irene, Lulu Salsabila, Michelle Levia, Mutiara Azzahra, Raisha Syifa, Ribka Budiman, and Victoria Kimberly.
Meanwhile, member Feni Fitriyanti did not participate in the production of this MV due to her ongoing hiatus.
JKT48 is a sister group of the Japanese idol group AKB48. Formed in 2011, JKT48 is based at the FX Sudirman Theatre, South Jakarta. The group has previously released Indonesian versions of songs from 48 Family idol groups, as well as some original songs.
