On Saturday night (14/02), popular idol group JKT48 delivered a special surprise on Valentine’s Day. During the Sambil Menggandeng Erat Tanganku (Te wo Tsunaginagara) setlist performance held at the JKT48 Theater, the theater Deputy General Manager, Shani Indira, officially introduced the new faces of the group’s next generation, the Generation 14.
A total of 11 members were introduced as Gen 14 trainees (kenkyuusei), marking the beginning of their journey with the group. These new members are selected as a result of the JKT48 audition that started in November 2025.
The 11 girls who will begin their journey with JKT48 are:

Afera Thalia (Fera) – 13 years old, Bogor

Carissa Dini (Carissa) – 14 years old, Jakarta

Christabella Bonita (Bella) – 14 years old, Tangerang

Fahira Putri (Fahira) – 13 years old, Jakarta

Fatimah Azzahra (Rara) – 15 years old, Depok

Heidi Suyangga (Heidi) – 17 years old, Jakarta

Maegan Jovanka (Maegan) – 14 years old, Depok

Maxine Faye Lee (Maxine) – 14 years old, Jakarta

Putry Jazyta (Jazy) – 14 years old, Bogor

Ralyne Van Irwan (Ralyne) – 14 years old, Medan

Sona Kalyana (Sona) – 14 years old, Jakarta
With the addition of these 11 new members, the total number of JKT48 trainees now stands at 20, as there are nine Generation 13 members who are still in trainee status.
JKT48 is a sister group of the Japanese idol group AKB48. Formed in 2011, JKT48 is based at the FX Sudirman Theater, South Jakarta. The group has previously released Indonesian versions of songs from 48 Family idol groups, as well as some original songs. Outside music, the idol group also has their own virtual YouTuber agency, JKT48V.
