First aired on 10 July 2025, the 3DCG anime Leviathan is now available with an Indonesian dub. Kantana CS Pro is credited as the dubbing studio, with Lia Siagian is credited as the dialogue director, and Netflix distributes the anime in Indonesia.

Leviathan, which is based on Scott Westerfeld‘s novel of the same name, is set in an alternate universe where World War I unfolds differently, with the major powers divided into two factions: the Darwinists and the Clankers. The British Darwinists use genetically modified animals as weapons, while the Clankers, which include Germany and Austria-Hungary, use enormous diesel-powered war machines. Among the most impressive of these weapons is the Leviathan, a vast whale-shaped airship and the pride of the British fleet.
The story centres on two main characters: Aleksandar, or Alek, a young prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire forced to flee after his family is betrayed, and Deryn Sharp, a girl who has to disguise herself as a boy to join the British Air Service. After performing a daring act, Deryn earns her place aboard the Leviathan.
During its journey, Leviathan is attacked by German planes and is forced to make an emergency landing in Switzerland, close to the hiding place of Alek and his mentor, Volger. Alek bravely helps the injured crew, including Deryn, who soon uncovers Alek’s true identity. Tensions rise between the two, but Deryn manages to defuse the situation and persuades them to work together.
Thanks to their combined efforts and shared technology, the Clankers and Darwinists succeed in repairing Leviathan. Not only that, the airship’s power is also increased by using Alek’s Stormwalker’s engines. Equipped with enhanced weaponry and fortitude, the team proceeds to Constantinople, carrying with them a mysterious cargo of genetically engineered eggs that could change the future of warfare.
