On 13 September 2025, hololive VTuber Kobo Kanaeru released her seventh original song, Fond Memories. The song is available on her YouTube channel and various music streaming platforms.
Before the release of the song, she announced her upcoming new song through her official X (formerly, Twitter) account on 8 September 2025. Two days later on 10 September 2025, she released a YouTube Short to promote this song.
According to Kobo, this song is special and different from her previous songs. For this song, Kobo took three years to create, where she wrote the song and brainstormed together with her fans. She also admitted that she cried during the song’s recording.
Kobo Kanaeru wrote the lyrics and composed the song herself. Rexana Noer F. and Matalino Marquez Siraj are credited as music arrangers and producers, with the former also credited as the orchestrator. Rajasa is credited as audio mixing and master engineer, vocal arranger, vocal director, and background vocalist. moehime provided the jacket cover illustration. The music video is produced by TWO THRDS Pictures with Steven Virel as the director.
Fond Memories is Kobo’s seventh original song. Previously, she also released six original songs titled Mantra Hujan, Oh! Asmara, Entah.., Sebatas Video Call, HELP!!, and Mandi Biar Wangi ☆ Washa Washa!. Her third original song, Entah.., was released under the music label holo-n, a joint label between Hololive Production and Universal Music.
