The song was released on the same date after Reine’s birthday stream. Reine provided the vocals herself. monii is credited as the co-lyricists, and vocal director. Johnny R is credited as the co-lyricists, music mixing, and mastering engineer. Ari is credited as the music producer, with the whole audio process is provided by Asteroid Music Team.
For the music video, soyatu is credited as the illustrator and Alvito20 is credited as the music video producer.
Figure It Out is Reine’s seventh original song. Previously, she also released six original songs titled Gate Open: START!, Ano Aozora no Sei da (Japanese: あの青空のせいだ), Love Me Love Me, Illusion Night, Sip Some Tea, and Yummy Yum Yum (Japanese: ヤミヤムヤミ).
